Clear side markers for 2008?

Installation of clear corner lenses.
Preparing to install new clear corners with stealth bulbs but in reading the operations manual for my bi-xenon equipped 2008, it states that the "parking/side lamps" on bi-xenon equipped cars are LED's and that they cannot be safely changed by the owner. Does anyone know whether the corner lights on these cars are LED's? and has anyone put clear corners/silver bulbs on a 2008 with bi-xenon??

I just started the lens change tonight.
I pulled the front plastic "belly pan" (6 or so screws) in order to get access to the clips on the underside of the markers. I checked the bulbs and they are standard 5W so no LED problem. However, so far I've been unable to remove the stock lens base for fear of breaking it! I'd like to keep in intact. I'll try again tomorrow.
Has anybody else already done this swap on a 2008?
