My E350 is now a 4x4! Uneven gaps, 1 completely wacked.HELP
Got a set of 18" wheels OEM wheels. I new there were gaps when I was running 17" on 245/45/17 tires, but now it's completely
noticeable with 245/40/18 fronts & and 265/35/18 rears. Right front looks wacked. What could be the problem????
I bought this car as CPO and assume that this might not be covered under warranty. Taking the car today to have some
warranty stuff done and will mention the height issue.
I already talked to a local shop to have my car lowered soon. He recommended H&R springs. Drop would be a 1.5 F & 1.3 R.
fyi...wifey doesn't want the slammed look. I just want to fill in those huge gaps. Hopefully, the ride won't be too harsh with the H&R springs.
I read threads that there was height differentials from one side to another, but not an extreme gaps like mine.
Any feedback is appreciated!

If you dont want the slammed look, definately don't go H&R. Although I have no personal expierience with them I would recommend Eibach. They seem to offer a more mild drop. Another option would be removing some of the front/rear shims. There are 3x3.5mm per side shims in the rear and a ~10mm plastic shim in the front.
