Serpentine Belt Tensioner
My 03 e500 has 53,000 miles so I decided to change the serpentine belt. It looks straight forward, but when I try to loosen the tension on the pulley the bolt starts to loosen and come out. Am I doing something wrong? I'm a newbie to working on MB's so any help would be great.

You are probably working the bolt the wrong way, it should go COUNTERclockwise, here are the instructions, enjoy.
