Positive Dealer Experience
Did a "B" service on my 3 year old E today along with the purchase of the updated Navigation Disk recently issued by Navteq. The "normal" dealer price for the updated disk is $275.00. It is available direct from Navteq for $199.00 which I mentioned in passing to the service advisor. I was willing to pay more to have the Dealership fully responible for upgrade both of the command software (requried for the upgrade to work) and installation of new data disk.
When I returned for pick up at the end of the day, the billing for the disk was 199.00.
While this may be a rare example of fair (or better) treatment, it can happen. Lesson is also to establish a good relationship with you service advisor who can help with being treated fairly.

When they did a FUBAR,, they did correct it. (they did 2 FUBARS) Incorrect tire size mounted, and 1 broken windshield. Which says to me they are normal people
working there who do !#@$ up at times. But at least they are willing to make it right, which is much more than I have had other dealerships do.
