If the ECU is similar to US spec cars and I bet that it is, the number one suspect is a loose fuel cap. You were probably in a hurry , frustrated etc. Check that the cap is properly fastened. I think the ecu resets after about 10cycles. Other US spec cars do. Never had that experience in our M-B.

This is what I would suspect also. If not it should reset after the FSS is updated on next service.

Thanks Guys, I think it may be misfire related cuz wen i filled her up after running out of juice, when i first cranked her over it took about 10 seconds to fire then it was lumpy for another 10 seconds or so, But i gave it a quick rev to get the fuel pumping and She's been running as smooth as a baby's bum since.

The light is still on though.

Thanks for your replies, and i know........ what a ******** i am for running out of juice

If it take that long to fire up. You should ask them to check the "ME control unit". I just got my car back today and that is what they changed for me to get the car fire up right away. Along with that many other stuff they also changed.
