Just got off the phone with MB Customer Service and asked them if they had any service bulletins listed. The service bulletin number for the "Engine Ticking Noise" is "P-B-07.00-21D-DTB". The representative acknowledged it was the motor mount. I thought I should share this information with everyone....

Do you know where we can find the details of this service bulletin. Also does it apply to both E500 and E320. So far, on this site I have only seen 2-3 E500 owners complain about this problem.Originally posted by i8hotdogs

I was told that it was for the engine ticking noise and it applied to 2003 E500. I am not sure if it applies to E320...

Don't know about the service bulletin number but I had the problem corrected on my car with motor mounts and in fact the fix works perfectly - there is no more noise. (E500)
