a few pics of my 08 E550
I had a E350 on order and while at the dealer getting my GL serviced I noticed a E550 that just came off the truck, still wrapped up. The salesguy said it wasn't anyones car "yet", so I asked him to get it prepped to test drive the next day.
I was already ok with the performance of the E350, and was happy with the mileage I was planning to get, lol.
This car changed my mind. I couldn't imagine driving the E55, it would be insane. The E550 pulls HARD to 120 or so, feels like it will never run out of power. This car has the standard E550 stuff the E350 doesnt (air suspension, leather vented seats, 4 zone climate control), iPod, voice, wood steering wheel. the only think I wanted it didn't have is the Xenon lights, but this car was calling to me, lol..

Very nice, congrats. I still think that a $60K+ car that does not come with Xenons standard is just plain wrong...... what are the cheapskates at MB thinking....

probaby looking for every penny they can get with the dollar so weak vs the Euro. Keep basic car, or base price down to appear competitive, then rape you with the options

I hear you. Having the xenon and keyless go, I can't live without them and I find for 2008 that means P2. But dealers don't order much P2 for their stock inventory.
I wish MB would comp to the fact they have a better car and can charge more. It would look better IMO then having a low base and expensive options.
