"Phone is not connected" is what I'm getting after I punched the "phone" buttom on Command.
2005 e500 looks like no bluetooth and how can I connect phone to the command?
How much will it cost?
Anyone?

Have you tried the very powerful "search" feature of these forums? You'll find hours of reading material on the subject. It's been discussed here, ad nauseum

Search for blue tooth or "BT puck".
In my case, when I got my pre-owned car, in the top center arm console I found I had the cradle for a V60 already installed in the car. If you have this then you only need to buy the BT puck. That slides into the cradle, sync with your own phone, and Bobs your uncle!

OK, here is what I did.
My E500 came with the VCM system. I simply purchased the Bluetooth, connected it into the console area, and turned on my IPHONE in General setting to Bluetooth on.
It downloaded my entire phonebook, can use the steering wheel functions, better than anything I have came across yet...490 for the bluetooth.
