Man that looks hot....I was just about to give up on my e320 for an 04 westminster range rover because of the prices I was quoted for the conversion, but now you give me hope...Im going to see if i can find as many used parts as possible......One question though....Is the conversion as easy as getting the bumper skin, I was told I needed bumper supports and such...Thanks

No new supports needed - however you will have to mod the front bumper support. I did the conversion for 1.1k including mesh, bumpers, and paint. Still looking for fogs.

Very nice job, the rear bumper is absolutely georgeous. The side skirts look very nice and may not need to be changed. Wait for a good deal, they are not needed now. With wheels, this is gonna be a sick *****. On the roof..... jury's out on that one, not really my style, but does not look tacky by any means, probably just a matter of having the nuts to do it.... Congrats. I would go crazy waiting for so long for wheels!!!!

Fogs were a problem for me too. Luckily, the 2nd front end I found was complete with mesh and fogs. Your 1.1k was for the front only, right?

Oh, and I've made my decision on a different set of wheels. I ordered them this week and I'm supposed to have them in about a month! They're more than the Sevas Forged but why should I let that stop me? Hopefully, I get the refund for them quicker than the 13 weeks I've been waiting for the wheels. *sigh**

**hint**

As I posted on another forum, the new wheels rhyme with Tree My Flea Schmodular.

Thanks. The roof was a bit of a leap of faith, but honestly, it looks good in person. From the rear, the roof flows perfectly onto the tinted back glass and down to the dark tinted tails. And if you look closely, I had them bring the black down the little strips on the A-Pillar next to the windshield.

I can't wait to get my new wheels. They're the ones I wanted from the beginning but were a bit out of my budget. But since then, I've found some change in the couch to cover the difference.

The price you paid for the bumpers is amazing. Since you saved so much money there, you might as well just buy the fogs new from the dealer. As a matter of fact, PM user RBrenton, he can get them for you at a discount. Tell him I sent you.

Clayton - how easy (or hard) is it to put the E63 bumper on? Straight swap?

I just remembered one thing about the rear....

On our cars, the impact strips w/chrome inserts come off and are a direct swap for an E55 rear bumper. However, on the E63 rear bumper, the impact strips are actually molded onto the bumper even though they look like they pop off. They don't. You'll need to purchase the skinny 3pc chrome strips. When you get to that part, let me know. I know how to get them cheaper than the crazy amount the dealer wants for them.
