yup
i got it. i don't think the salesman knew what it was for but when i saw it, i said "oh cool...the mat for the ashtray is in there" and he kind of looked at me like "uh...ok".

This is really no big deal! The ashtray is removable...by doing so you will create a small storage space. A small "mat" should be provided to place in the small storage space once the ashtray is removed. The mat is approximately 4" X 5" and cut to fit in the ashtray space once it has been removed. The mat looks sort of like a small mousepad. When my car was dleivered the mat was in the glovebox, along with a small rod to use if the sunroof gets stuck in the open position.

This is funny...
I asked for it on my service order when I went to have my chromies put on. Get this, they didn't put in the liner, instead, they took my ashtray out, put it in the glovebox, and then put a new ashtray in. Now I got two ashtrays and no liners, LOL!
I told my service rep about it, and he said they had to order a second one to get the liner. When I told him that I got the second one but no liner, he just shook his head (Frustration at the wrench turner).
