Unhappy Xenon Bulb Replacement / Upgrade. Help!!

I'm trying to upgrade my headlight bixenon bulb from OEM 4300K to a 6000K unfortunately, I have encountered a problem. Somehow the factory bulb sits in between a square black housing and the square factory ignitor as if they are in one piece. I can't detach this black square housing in order to remove the bulb out from the square ignitor. Is it impossible remove this thing? Is anyone have the same problem that I'm encountering? Have someone successfully done this? Or is it impossible remove this black square "thingy" out? Please help!!!!

if this is what you have, dont even try to disconnect them.
they are integral. instead of the D2S bulb, you have D1S

I hope you didn't make the same mistake like I did. I ordered D2S 6000k and learned the hard way. My 2007 e 350 usedbi-xenon used D1s hid bulb.
From what you said, I think it's D1S bulb. The square part is part of the bulb. I don't think you can removed it.

I hope this help.

Thanks for everyone who responded. I know that I have a D1S bulb the D2s bulb is integrated with the Ignitor (the metal square box). But what I am saying there is another black square plastic "thingy" that has a metal spring in it which looks like it clipped inside the groove of the rounded base of the bulb and sat on top of the square metal box (ignitor). Has anyone know what I'm talking about? I will try to take some picture of this thing to show on what I mean.

You still have those 6000k bulbs lying around?

I'll buy them from you if you do.
