Some say you need the AMG inner plastic support. You can modify your stock one to work. It may be easier to use the AMG one depending on the cost.

I am selling the AMG Front bumper w/AMG fog lights on my 06 E350. It is Black color. I paid $2500 for AMG front bumper/fog lights/meshs/paint job. It is Geninue AMG not replica. I would let it go for $1400. Let me know if you are interested and I can email you pictures.
