E320
I-I-I got one!

Hey everyone, well after graduating college my dad decided to buy me a 2003 E320 black on black and here it is

So yes I'm very happy and previously I owned a Grand cherokee which I really modified so I'm looking to modify this car and this is where I like to come for ideas and suggestions So I'm planning on putting on black rims with chrome lip however I'd like to buy online and I do happen to live in Canada, so any suggestions on a good online store for rims? Also I'm debating either putting 20' or 19' and lowering it however as this car does not have the airmatic suspension, I believe it would cost me plently to lower it, would anybody happen to know the prices?
And by all means, throw me any suggestions on what to do with it cause I'm so open to it, also I rly wanna make the grill black as well...
P.S. It's got a E500 sticker instead of E320, previous owner must of switched it...
whoo I'm so happy!

First of all, welcome.

Secondly, debadge the car or badge it correctly. If not, you will have to contend with the onslaught of criticism about it. Mostly from me.

If you're looking for wheels, look no further than these:

You'll be hard pressed to find a better setup. If you were to buy these new, you're looking at about $7000.00 for wheels and tires.

As for lowering, check out www.hrsprings.com. I think they have a kit for fairly cheap.

Good luck with her and keep us posted on the mods. There's a bunch of modaholics on here. I happen to be one of them.

Hey, congrats on the new baby, she looks very nice .

Funny how the previous owner put an E500 badge, I don't get it why he didn't go with the E55 and AMG badges. Definitely debadge it (planning on doing mine).

Black rims with a chrome lip would look sick, just make sure it has a nice deep lip, I love those. Go with 19's.

Just noticed you have the digital A/C. That's tight because us in the U.S. get the analog one for the 320's, digital for 500 and up. So, you have the charcoal feature and true seperate duel zone and quad zone.

I would recommend getting xenons, the L.E.D. tail lights, white gauges for instrument cluster, and wood steering wheel (really changes the look of the interior of the car).

Congrats on graduating from college, I got just one more year left.

Congrats on the ride,I have practically the same model, and it's been trouble free from day one. A lot better than my previous E that had me going to the shop every couple of months. A few pointers; In my own opinion(not neccesarily yours) I think the car looks pretty generic without a personal touch, that's why I have the rims and the tint. Nothing extravagant ,just something that moves it away from the norm, and the other pointer is the Harman Kardon system is nice ,but the bass is sorely lacking. I went hog wild, and got some 15 inch JL Audio subs (2) and an Alpine sub amp,and it definitely rounded out my sound very nicely. Good luck with your new (to you) baby, and keep in touch. Peace

Agree, H/K (lol, always makes me think of Hong Kong) lacks bass. CL500 with the Bose system packs a lot of bass, just like my old 94 S420. Kind of miss the Bose, but there is something that is distinct about the H/K that I can't put my finger on.
