Tele-Aid works!
Ha. It works, and a good use of the mechanism.
In driving my car to the back (the broken radio), my dealer this morning set off the alarm (don't ask how, no idea). And lo and behold, ten seconds later my cell phone went - the response centre called to tell me my car theft alarm had been activated.
Is that cool, or what?
Pity my insurance gives no discount for it!

That one does work. While my wife was having a flat tire fixed, she forgot to disable the alarm. The Tel-aid people gave me a call on my cell phone to let me know my alarm was going off. Great, but I happened to be sitting in the airport in New York at the time. BTW, we live in Texas. But it was nice to know things were being monitored.
