Did you figure out how to disable the washers? BTW - Best E i ever seen. What size tires you running on the 20's??

Thanks, Jeff - I think you should keep it! maybe you can turn it into a project car?

mercfivehundred - Thanks. I did find out how to disable the washers but opted not to because I learned the washers are pressure activated by water. So even if they activate, they would hit the bumper and go back in.

I'm running 245/30 and 285/25's

I'm interested in info regarding the AMG instrument cluster swap. Is it plug-n-play with a non-amg vehicle?

wow, talk about reviving a dead thread. The swap was done by MBenzNL, a sponsor on this board. Not plug and play. Still need Star system to bring over all of your own data

Low is a lifestyle. Been riding like this over 15 years now. It's not for everyone, but it is for me. I'm actually a bit lower now than in the pics and on different wheels. Wheels won't rub as long as you spec them correctly and do fender work as necessary.

I think by lifestyle you're saying you're choosing fashion and style over function. I agree it looks good.

Function and airmatic in the same sentence is an oxymoron to begin with

this is a really old thread. Old wheels were sold over a year ago. lip was purchased from eurotech. Not interested in a shoot, thanks though

never. if you're wondering why i'd do the E55 kit and not buy the car, the E55 was not available when i bought this car. I ordered this car in Sept. 2002. And being that I have no problems with this car, I have no desire to sell it and buy an E55. I like the look of the E55, but don't have to have the engine. The car is just a DD.
