Service A and Tire Rotation

I checked Service A list on a thread. It seems to include "tire rotation (but not for AMG)."

My W211 (2007 E350 Non-4matic) has AMG style sports package. Does my car's tires have to be rotated?

Actually, I dropped off my car at my dealership for Service A but the service man required $80 more for rotation and I rejected.

I am confused and no clue about what kind of service should be done EXACTLY for service A.

Give me some advice.

You can buy a "lifetime balance/rotation" plan from America's Tire/Discount tire for $40. I rotate my tires every 5000 miles

Look at your front and rear tires. Are they the same size? If yes, rotate them. If no, don't rotate them.

Service A just means one hour of labor. For your car that probably means they will change the oil and check some stuff on the car.

Read your maintenance manual and it should tell you what needs to be done to your car. If you do not have one, register your car with mbusa owners online and you can download the operators manual and maintenance manual.

‘07 e350 non-4matic with sports package is equipped with staggered wheels (8.5x18 / 9.0x18) – no rotation required.

See line 2 of service sheet “Service_05_present” for rotation details and a basic understanding of what Service A includes https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....7&postcount=74
