He guys,
The lease on my 06 e55 is up soon and I am thinking of changing over to the E550 4-matic ( really need awd ). The dealer offers a renntech package for $5000 that will raise the HP by 20 and TQ by 11 lbs or so...sounds like pretty lame gains for the money..al they're doing is tuning, but I was wondering if someone had done this and whether it made a difference?

That's a lot of money for the small gains. Unfortunately Renntech prices don't usually give you the best bang for the buck. I believe currently all they make for the E550 is a ECU upgrade and headers, the gains you are talking about with 20hp gain and 11ft-lbs gain should be with the ECU only, which should cost you roughly $1,795 according to Renntech's website so it sounds like they're trying to rip you off bigtime. If its worth the $1,795 its up to you, personally I'd say swap your filters with Green filters or something along those lines for under $200 and you will get some gains and save a bit of cash.
