Thanks for posting this poll, Wow. I've been curious about this for some time. I've left mine on 4 since the start (the salesperson recommended 3), but I don't really experience the effect until away from the city lights.

Personally I've been driving the car with the ambience lighting on for a while at some med setting and recently switched it off altogether and set the dash/instrument cluster on the dimmest setting. Find it the most relaxing/distraction free way to drive.

mine's on 2, which is where it was when i took delivery the other day.
I noticed, however, that the front light barely glows, but the rear seems to be a level or 2 brighter.
Haven't had time to experiment with it yet to determine if the rear switches override the multifunction display settings for the rear lamp or not.

yea, your right, its cool, there is more than 5 settings for the rear, it is more like 10-12
