License Plate Lights

Has anyone here purchased and installed LED festoon bulbs from AutoLumination? I need to know how their 39mm festoon (presumably the 9 led) fit into the receptacle (and how it compared in size to the OEM).

I've used them and they are fine, but mine is an 03 E320. Also, the 39" were kind of too long, so I got 38" instead. Oh, and you need to wire resistors in order for them not to flash off and on and as to not trigger an error warning on the cluster.

yea 39 and no issues just take off the inner trunk cover by pulling out the little plugs that hold it in find the plate light wires install the resistors install the bulbs test then bam you got yourself some plate lights

guys will these work in the parking lights and also in the license plate lights instead of wiring in teh resistors becaus ethese are hard wired in but will they fit?
