W210 E55, W211 E3504M, E90 325i
I'm 33. I just bought (this month) a 2007MY E350 4Matic Sport, pre-owned with 16k on the clock. This is a new sibling to my 2006 E90 325i.
I'm in international trade (here in DC).
I'm new to the MB world so pardon my inevitable upcoming series of noob questions hahaha. But if you ever need info/help/tips on the E9X, just drop me a PM. I'm a moderator on Bimmerpost.

But it's alright... can't criticize you, I would need to criticize your dad!

My point is that a kid should work for his 1., 2. 3. n. car and not get the money stuck in his lil *** by his parents! I personally don't care if its a Citroen, Honda, Mercedes or Ferrari... Grow up and work hard for your money and you will know one day what I'm talking about!

It's true, people see you in a Benz and assume you're rich as hell. This goes for all Luxo makes and cars, they depreciate so much (cost to own, operate, maintain, fix, etc. as these are still engineered at high $$ cars regardless of the Used Car Market), you can often get them two or so years old at the price of a New car that cost almost half of it when it was itself new.
I mean, you can get a two year old W221 S-Class for under $50K CPO'd, less than a new W211 E-Class, but you'll still be assumed as more "Rich" when driving the S-Class naturally.

Mackhack I agree with you but it is just a way of life for some people and it will never change, besides don't blame the kid if his dad bought him a Benz, I'm pretty sure the children don't force the parents to, unless of course the kid is from My Super Sweet 16.

Something else that shouldn't be forgotten is the fact that most of the MB owners don't even own their MB but they are all leased or financed which is not the same as if you can actually afford a MB (or any other luxury) car and buy it and actually own it and present their status which is totally fine and acceptable over the people who can't but still wanna drive it!

MBWorld Fanatic!
Kind stupid. I have old 08 E350, I want a new car for myself. As CTO of company I deserve to drive a new car every two years, and I am 55. So what to do with my old car? Sell it and by a Civic for my kids? Stupid wasting money.
BTW William Gates drove Porsche at 16, so if you started with E, you have a good chance to screw Microsoft.

You're saying that you are entitled for a new car every 2 years by your company, correct? Then that means not you are buying the car but the company. Not you are owning this car but your company. Nevertheless if you own that company or if you are just an employee (and even regardless of your c-level status or not)!
I think the fact that most of the luxury car owners simply don't own a penny worth on the cars they are driving!
