You are only as old as you feel... Go and enjoy the car every time you use it

26, and bought it used a few weeks ago. Love it. Best car to drive I have ever owned. Traded in a 500 HP Terminator Cobra Convertible on it. Loved the speed. hated the rattles, squeaks, leaks, and endless trail of broken parts that it left behind.

And besides, if I want to go and play with something, I have a 77 Corvette L82 for that. Which also rattles, squeaks, leaks, and leaves and endless trail of broken parts behind it. :-)

thats how you have to look at it, age doesn't matter as long as you treat the car good, it'll repay its favor and take care of it and don't cheapen it by adding hideous chrome and 600 dollar rims the car will keep its name and repay you

So you're saying as long as a 16 year old gets a car that is so expensive most of our fellows can't even afford to look at with their 10 bucks/hr pay days it's ok to treat it good and it will repay its favor?

Little bit unreal don't you think?

no im talking to bibliophile he said better late than never... it doesnt matter wen u get it neces. i wasnt saying u should have these cars at 16 while others have worked vigorous hours to get one of their own... i got mine used and financed it i know how difficult it is, it cuts away from many other things you want and need, throw in a family and then you really begin to consider other car choices if your expenses cant cover it, i am not saying you are wrong i was just saying that for the most part it doesnt matter how old you are when you get the car in response to biblio "better late than never" which proves your point he got his at 57 and others are enjoying by telling their parents oh mom, dad i like this one as if its a toy in the toy store, am i wrong?

Unfortunately what's not unreal is the fact that the world is vastly unfair and some are much more well off than others.

If you think a 16 year old in an E-Class is bad, where I am in Richmond BC I see 16 year old girls in Audi R8s, Ferraris, Porsches, and Bentleys all the time. Doesn't bother me, everyone has different circumstances and points in their lives. Be happy with what you got

Thanks, man -- I caught your meaning. I planned it this way so I wouldn't have to share it with my kids.

Not at all. I'm grateful for owning an E now after years of driving mediocre vehicles. Now I can aspire to an AMG (though I don't care for the W212s).

imo opinion the sedan w212 does not really grasp me idk y, i just dont like it, but i think the coupe is a beast of its own too bad they havent made an amg edition of the coupe (they will they always time it to gain their pockets) they just released the convertible edition now, you'd think they would be done with soft tops... sigh if only it was a hard top regardless the w211 if built properly looks amazing ex the E63 will never get old in my heart its a monster
