E-500 Awd
I currently own a 2000 E320 AWD. Great car and has never given me any problems. I love the body stlye on the new E-Class and will wait until the AWD version of the E-500 becomes available in the late spring or summer. I want to order the sports package, which includes high performance tires, but will this defeat the purpose of AWD? I guess I want the best of both worlds...the saftey and comfort of AWD and the great looks of the sports package with the cool looking rims, trim , etc. Appreciate any feedback.

Sport package not available with AWD
The Mercedes "Build Your Own Site" specifically noted that the sports package was not available on the 4Matic new E Class. This was a little odd since the same site was not offering the 4Matic yet.

I called MB and was told the 4-Matic would be available this spring. Funny, my salesman could not give me this information.
