for those of you running 20 in rims....

what tire size are you running? also is it at the recomended load rating .... been researching and can't find a 30 series that would support the load rating of the rear of the car of 2655 lbs....

This is the reason 20's are actually too big for the W211. You have to stay with 19's to get the proper tire. I think a 245 35 20 works in the front and a 275 30 20 in the rear IF you are staggered. Also you can split the load rating in half since you have two wheels in the back so its 1327 per side.

i used to have 245/35/20 in the front and they rubbed,

245/30/20 on the front with a 9" wheel, 285/25/20 on rear with a 10" wheel. No rubbing, very happy!

hey fresh benz, i have 20 asanti's and the rear i beleive is 10's. i used to have 245/30/20 stretched on it and it didn't rub, the problem is the load rating was low. as it stands there is barely 1/4 in. of clearance from the sidewall of the tire to the fender lip. how would i fit a 275? or is the offset wrong in the rear?
