Charlotte, NC shops/mechanics?

Can anybody recommend any Charlotte, NC area shops/mechanics to do regular service on my '04 E500 4-matic? It's out of warranty, and I've never been a huge fan of the high-$ dealer service rates. Doesn't have to be a high-performance shop...I'm looking for knowledgeable, honest, and reasonably priced.

Thanks,
Mark

CL600
I know you said you didn't want to go to dealership, and I've been there before, but Mercedes of South Charlotte has been nothing but great. I didn't even buy my car there and they have taken care of me and the rest of my family in the area since they have opened. Even took care of my 02 CL600 which was full of problems, and under CPO. And it is always nice to have that loaner

Well, the consensus seems to be that MB of S. Charlotte is the place to go, but I'm surprised that nobody's familiar with any other "foreign car specialists" in the area.

Last call...

And thanks to those of you who responded.

Haha - the only "foreign car specialists" that I've seen around here are beat-up shops with hand-painted "Mercedes" signs where I wouldn't even drop off my Jeep for service...

Charlotte Maintenance Options

I've been to 2 places here in Charlotte for MB maintenance. One was Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte there in Pineville. They provide top notch service and treat you very well. They will give me a loaner when I request one or if it is a short service then sitting there is very comfortable as they provide snacks, working areas, and internet service.

I also tried an independent location once. I found their prices to be very similar (less but not significantly) to the dealership and they didn't provide a loaner or have the amenities that South Charlotte MB had.
