KLEEMANN E550 headers on sale!!

KLEEMANN is offering header systems for the E and CLS550 M272 V8 for 50% off starting now until December 31st 2008! The headers are priced at $1800 per set and included down pipes WITH sport-metal catalysts, new exhaust manifold gaskets, new manifold fasteners and all necessary hardware. No, these will work on both the 5.0 and 5.5L engine. Gains on the 5.0 are quite a bit lower- 20, maybe 25 HP and TQ.

Crankshaft HP. Gains are typically 5-7% on the 5.0 N/A engine with headers.

Let me clarify here. The headers KLEEMANN Produces for the M273 V8 engine will only work on the 550 M273 engine. However, the headers KLEEMANN produces for the M113 V8 engine will work on both the M113 5.0 and M113 5.5 engine- see my post in the W211 AMG section regarding M113 headers.

RE: M273 Headers

Cory,

What type of gain would one typically see on the M273 (2007) E550 with your header package?

Secondly, would installation require (or benefit from) a tune, or would stock ECU cal work o.k.?
