Dirty Door Sills. Any Cover Available?
Good evening,
I've got the light grey interior in my '06 CDI, and can't keep the entry sills clean from people dragging the soles of their shoes across while entering the car. Has anyone found some sort of cover for these sills? Why on earth would MB not have a plastic cover instead of fabric is beyond me. So far, this is my only complaint with the car and absolutely love it. Any ideas?

Blue Coral Dri Clean Upholstery Cleaner in the trigger spray bottle. Give it a spritz, wipe with a terri towel and pffft! Clean as new. (I used to have a Stone Interior on my '04)

I posted a similar question when I got my car with Cashmere interior. After six months, and a six-year-old girl getting in the back every day, keeping the doors sills has not been a problem at all. They must have done something to the fabric on the door sills to make it more stain resistant than it was in prior years.
