I have an iphone 3g and wish to use both the iphone and ipod functions integrated with my car.

I have fitted the iphone cradle, and the phone function is working perfectly.

I also have an ipod integration kit and when I use this the ipod function works perfectly.

Now here is where I am having problems.

The Iphone cradle has a wire attached to it ending in a rectangular female connector. I have read that this must be connected to the ipod interface, (Or Media Interface) kit to get both the ipod and iphone integration simultaneously.

I need the connector that fits onto the cradle wire and then into the ipod interface, however I.e. I need a wire with a MALE rectangular connector for the cradle side and a male connector for the ipod side. HOWEVER I ordered kit number A 001 827 6504 and it contains female to female connectors, not male to male connectors,

Unfortunately Mercedes Benz do not know what to do,

Where am I going wrong?
