Finally installed white side marker lights
I finally got around to installing the white side marker lights yesterday. I really like the look - I think it looks much cleaner than the orange lights.

Very nice looking. How difficult was it for you to remove your original side marker? The manual says to push the sidemarker foward (towards the front bumper) then pull the back end out first. I have tried that many times, but no luck, anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Just did mine last week too... The trick to removing the stock lenses is to work a very thin flat bladed screwdriver under the top rear of the lense and the get a finger under the exposed edge. Apply a little pressure and it seems to pop the lense free... The trailing edge of the lense is where the clip is located but getting to it from the outside is near impossible.... You just have to be real careful that when you lift the lense with the flatbladed screwdriver, you don't scratch the paint... I'm talking real thin small bladed screwdriver here... I've had mine off and on several times to change bulbs and no problems whatsoever and didn't need to remove the belly pan...

MBWorld Fanatic!
I've seen many posts where people state that these clear markers look best on light color cars. However, I think yours look terrific ! I'm definitely getting them for my Tectite gray car.

A couple of years ago I remember posts by memebers saying that after a couple of weeks a certain brand of lenses would leak after a heavy rain.
Anyone experience that lately ?
