utter noob question re options

I am looking to purchase a 06 E350 4Matic
http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...=&cardist=5793

I got the list of options from the Vehicle Master Inquiry. Is there a list I can match against since the print out cuts out the text.

Also, it says it has 16" rims, is that standard on a 06 E350 4matic?

Dealerships ad says it has TPMS, but I don't see it on the option list, is that standard?

Update, confirmed no TPMS. Yay!

Thanx Konigstiger for the data card pull.

Datacard shows 8J x 16 wheels. TPMS not offered for ‘06. PM your email address and I will forward a copy of the MB datacard listing equipment with codes, initial delivery date, etc.

IT looks like HK-Sound, Heated Seats, and Rear Sunshade are the only options.

I see an auto trunk closer in the pics, too.

just talked to Luck from Tirerack and he said this is the first time he has heard of a 8j x 16 on a E350.

My question is can anyone shed some lights on this? Was it just a short production run that shipped with the 16" ?

Production date (according to VMI) is 2005/03/16 and sold on 2006/06/29

I think that is also the instrument cluster appearance - chrome rings compared to the "Classic" edition, which is not available in the US.

Big deal what Luke's heard of.

It has to have "appearance package" or "sport package" option to get the 17-in wheels.

TPMS was also an option in 2006.

This according to the 2006 brochure.

BTW, you've surely made a typo, as Mercedes' model year cutoff is July 1 and if your car was really made in 2005 before July 1 it's a 2005 model. This may not be as applicable for USA production, as of course there were no 2005 E350s for USA.

Does it show the actual tire pressure in the I/C, or just inform you that one is low? Perhaps the actual tire pressure is what konigstiger is referring to.

TPMS of any kind was optional in 2006.

I'd have to look in our owners manual to learn more.

Datacard lists:
Delivery date as 3/21/2005 however, when you decode the VIN position 10 shows 6 = 2006.
SA Code 672 = Light alloy wheel 5-star design

EPC (VIN relative) front & rear wheels:
A2114013302-7X07 Polished with titanium silver 5-double spoke wheel, 8J x 16 H2 ET 36
Code 745 Tire Pressure Check = Item not valid

You are asking the wrong person I have never sat in a MB til about 6 weeks ago when I went to test drive a C55 my buddy was going to buy. I have no clue what I am doing. Konigstiger pulled the datacard on it based on the vin and verified it was indeed an 06 model year.

So ET36 means I need offset 36 no matter what size rim I get right?

Any chance you got a better scan of that page?

Or is that information identical to the ones found on this brochure from New Zealand?

Many thanks. It just adds to the confusion

According to this pdf it should be 17 inch standard but this car has 16.

I guess they ordered individual options as opposed to going with one of the packages. Yet Elegance is listed on option selected.

Doesn't really matter since I already bought the car
