2002 E55 AMG Wheel for W211?

I don't think so.
I just got a set of AMG 5-spoke 18's for my 2003 E320. I was told that the spacing (or some other similar term) is new and different so none of the older W210 wheels will fit. I do believe I was told the W211 has the same spacing as either the current CL or SL class, not that that is any help. I'm going to have to figure out what to do with the original wheels and tires that came with my car and now realize the number of vehicles out there that can use them is limited.
