Bluetooth adapter question

there are 2 part numbers for these units. the one that ends in 78 is said to be newer than the the one that ends in 39. Is that true and is it any better? I'm looking at getting one off flea bay and pay about half of the dealer charge.

Thanks

I'd go for the "78" if you have a choice.

I am going to get the newer unit, thank you for the responses.

155 - Nice to see you have a Duc, do you track it? I have a Sport Classic that I set up for the track and just picked up a 2005 999S for some track duty next year.

Greg - I ride the track only! Too many close calls on the street...

Primarily we do Pacific Raceways in Seattle and Portland Int'l Raceway in Portland. We also ventured off to Miller in Utah for 4 days. That was an incredible trip! We plan to go again next year.

The 05 999S is a really nice pick up as you get the braced swing arm, higher output motor and a few other tweaks. Supposed to be much better then the 03/04's. Congrats!

There are a couple "must-do" track mods for the XX9 bikes:
1) DOT race tires or slicks (the Dunlop 211's, Ntech's are brilliant)
2) Yoyodyneti quick throttle (stock is WAY too long)
3) Brembo brake master cylinder/race pads
4) 520 chain conversion (check message boards for optimal gearing)
5) Suspension setup by pro (geometry, dampning)

Are you on Ducati.ms?? Speedzilla forums are okay too.
