I ordered the new brackets today and it should come in next week. I hacked the wrong bracket so I can't return it, but yes it was only $18 each. That's why I took the chance of cutting it. Sometimes when your tired its wise just to stop and come back to the project where your not. You start thinking of stupid ideas that just add to your problem instead of correcting it.
Tonight I'm going to went sand all the pieces to get them ready for paint.
Also I ordered all the brackets and misc. stuff from mercedesshop.com , I called in the order and Phil help a lot in verifying my corrected part numbers. He is also quick in shipping. Considering all the parts are special order it came in 3 days to my door. Nice guy too..

I love it. That is just super!!!
I like your tail lights, the new bumper looks wicked and the rear bumper with the exhausts is just gives it the finishing touch.
Your spoiler is also super. I would suggest, just lose the front grill and put a new set of rims and your car will be impossible to differentiate from the real deal.

NonoTme sorry about the wrong support part numbers.. i guess i didn't double check to see which ones i typed in the post, but yea, they are the supports used on any E63. I ordered so many parts and had so many numbers i guess those just slipped through haha. They are relatively cheap at about 20 bux each though, and usually the dealer will let you trade it back in if they are nice. If you have any questions just PM me or post here i will check it out and help you any way i can.

Yea, i can't find a lip for this bumper, BUT i think the e63 lip will fit, just not SUPER FLUSH at the front where the bumper curves but the E63 doesn't.. but I dunno if i am gonna waste 600 bux to try haha. I am thinking about Re-doing the rear bumper with either the e63 diffuser, or a e55 carbon diffuser, but i wanted to carbon the front and back.. so i guess just the regular e63 diffuser and then add Quad tips. I am also going to get the facelift taillights, led top and bottom, and see about smoking the center clear section. Probably throw some monarch63's on there too.

I was looking into the E63 carbon fiber lip, is there any way to modify it to fit our bumper?

I don't think it needs to be modified to fit, but it just wont be flush. There will probably be a little gap, maybe 1/4" around where the 2 "fins" of the amg bumper go in towards the car, and then back out again to make a point, where as the E63 bumper is almost flush from the "fins" to the point. If anyone is willing to help me out purcashing a lip i will be happy to try it out

my 20's ride kind of rough but getting 19's is not going to help tremendously your better off going with 20's they look better on the E, I would recommend 19's for the C class

I am lowered quite a bit though, about 2.25 in the front, and about 2 in the rear. I can adjust it.. and was thinking about maybe 1.25 all around. If i get 20's, will there be any rubbing issues? I just figured 19's would ride a little better, and i like the smoother ride. I do like the look of your 20's though. My accord that my GF drives has 19's, from stock 15's, with coilover lowering, and the ride is HARSH. I talked to some guys who had both 19's and 20's on an E and E55 , and they both said 20's looked nice, but 19's were a lot smoother.. but they used those cars as daily drivers and i don't. They said 20's were just too harsh over bumps and most roads and not enough sidewall on the tires. I want 20's.. but just can't decide.... WHAT TO DO???

20s = looks
Whatever you decide, try to get a quality wheel as it seems every week there's a new sob story of bent rims!! That's why i went with an OEM wheel. They're heavier but more durable... in theory.
Rubbing is not a concern provided you selected the correct offsets.

Whatever you decide, try to get a quality wheel as it seems every week there's a new sob story of bent rims!! That's why i went with an OEM wheel. They're heavier but more durable... in theory.

Plus its annoying to have to dodge EVERY pothole you come across. After getting stock E55 wheels ill never go back

Yeah the bumpers are OEM. They fit perfect, but its not just quite bolt on. You have to get all the right parts and clips..etc.., then assemble the inner reinforcements of the bumpers, then mount and bolt on.. not too hard, just tedious and such. I have done it so many times that i can take off the front bumper , both headlights, and then re-install, within 1 hour total.

nicely done! now you need to buy my wheels to complete the look.
Finally finished my facelift conversion. After countless wrong parts, searching for answers,mercedes dealers that lied just to have an answer to a question even though they just didn't know, and who knows how many hours of taking off and on my bumpers, lights, grills.. etc... All that is left is finishing up my audio system and some wheels. Thank you to all that helped answer my questions on this forum.. Don't know what i would have done without help and this site.

ok quick question lets say i were to get a e350 bumper and install it without the bumper supports and reinforcements wouldn't it still be fine just more fragile? I mean the side clips near the fender would hold it up along with the bolts between the lights and then from the bottom where the bumper support is... What im asking is what is absolutely necessary and what can be left out..

It may work but it may end up being a hack job. The fog lights mount on to clips from the inner linings if I remember correctly, and they won't line up right without the right support. The side markers go into the new support with the right support clips, so I think you would need to retrofit that. The bottom tray may not line up right. The foam supports may cause a bulge in the front bumper making it a tight fit as well. I may be wrong, it's been a while since I did the conversion, and have since re-done it to a E63 as well. The parts you need to make it work aren't that bad if you don't buy it from a dealership and you don't get the bumper from a dealership, especially for just a E350 bumper.
