2007 W211 E350 Firewall Access
I am planning to install a Laser Interceptor unit in my E350. I have looked at the firewall and can not locate a simple place to pass two wires through the firewall. I am reluctant to modify the sealed electronic box in the engine compartment in front of the driver as I do not want any warranty issues, though it appears this box has direct access into the cabin. Please let me know if there is an existing grommet location that can be used. I did notice a black plug behind the brake booster that may provide access. Any help would be appreciated.

Several options on running wires/cables through the firewall either from a unused plug or with a wire harness plug...several on either side at brake booster and at the cabin filter
I would use a unused plug/grommet to avoid any problems with the dealer
just remember to seal the wires at the grommet
