So, Xmas eve went out with the girlfriend for dinner and drinks. I had a little too much and let my chick drive...Urghhhh, big mistake.. Before we even left the parking lot she bumped the curb and yes a nice dig in my 19" rear wheel and a chunk of tire missing also.. Anyways, I just wanted to share my story and wish everyone a Happy Holiday and be careful letting your chick drive your car.... Moral of the story: a $50.00 taxi cab ride is cheaper than replacing a wheel and tire or a DUI and an argument with your chick!!!!

 

Well -- at least no DUI that is expensive and riskier than the tire / wheel.

I let my ex-girlfriend drive my W123 for a few days and she returned it to me with the exhaust dragging the ground (literally). And swore "it just fell off." But she turned out to be a liar, hence "ex" girlfriend!

 

I had a W203 a few years back. I let someone use it while I was away. I would always call to ask how things were, how the car was, etc. " Oh yeah, everything is great" It turns out, after the 6th month, the engine blew and the car caught on fire. She lied to me for 6 months about the car being "great" meanwhile I finished paying off the note on a destroyed car. Needless to say, she is no longer in my life.
