Pls don't do it. I even know ladies that know the true AMG benz. It's better to de-badge than front like u own one. Even after i supercharge my car....i dont plan on advertising my power to no one(No renntech or kleemann badges). I'll let my dust do the talking....feel me? (With my Valentine V1 radar detector).
3.5liter is no 5.5liter or 6.3liter, and definately not a single mechanic engine with his signature on your engine.
U dont want some other model cars like the "stuck up" M3 owners claiming fake kills. It'll be a total disrespect to all the E55/E63 owners. I'm quite sure u already know what a beast of a family car these E-class AMG are!
You want me to keep going???
Obama said it's time for a change.....guess what? It starts right here from forum sites like these. So pls stop "FAKE BADGING" hahahahahahahah lmfao.![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)

U have a sweet ride!!! And if she want's u because your ride or an AMG badge instead of who u are......well u already know how the story ends.
Just incase you even think of going through w/it......i'm sure d next post after me would definately make u reconsider!

Just an update. I didn't do it. I ended up putting the AMG badge on my toolbox ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I still left the E350 on my car. I wasn't going to put the AMG badge on my car to try and pretend i had a E55, it was just an addition. You guys are right though.
However, I am probably going to pick up a very clean 2004 E55 at a local dealer here, that is selling for $32K. I'm going to sell my wife's 2005 Accord, and give her the E350, and the E55 will be my new toy. It comes with an AMG badge stock!

Excellent decision, you have a great car as we all do. There is absolutely nothing gained by fronting, posing,or just trying to be something your car is not. I applaud you .......

personally i debadged my amg. i think it looks cleaner without badges.
debadge yours. lower it. get the 63 wheels. it will look clean, noone will point and laugh and maybe once in a while someone will ask you if it's an AMG

Its YOUR car. Do what you want with it. Just be careful not to pass it off as an AMG to those who know. You're not gonna be driving alongside these haters. Dont let your owning and driving experience revolve around this forum. If you want it, DO IT, its yours.

Definitely put it on if you have an AMG appearence package.
But dont forget to replace the E350 for and E63.
I might have done it if my car looked exactly like an E63.
Afterall, appearence matters a lot. I dont think it is ricy to put appropriate badges if you car looks identical to anther car in every other aspect.

I have a full AMG Appearance package, AMG Logo's splattered all over the car (OE AMG Rims, Exhaust tips), and would never de-value my car by putting an AMG badge on the trunk. You actually contaminate the cars perceived value with it, as someone would originally look at your car and say "nice car", a fake badge changes it to "ahh it's a fake.... cheap poser".
Anyway, good job on not doing it.

not too sure about the E350's but when I bought my E500, i distinctly remember an E320 that came with the AMG badge. Although it was an E320 it had the full AMG body kit (front/rear bumper, side skirts, exhaust tips) minus the AMG engine.

I believe that its ok to have the badge as long as you have a few AMG goodies and most importantly, debadge the letter and numbers designating exactly what model it is
