Smudge now a disaster

Just wondering if anyone has advice on how to replace the screen on the Command. I always wipe down my dash when cleaning. Usually that is with microfiber and l like to wipe off the finger prints off of the command screen. Today I was in a hurry and had a paper towel with some window cleaner on it. As I wiped the screen I thought I was wiping an oily finger print smudge off but to my horror I apparently rubbed through some of the coating on the screen (which seems like an anti-glare coating) and now i have a nasty looking area on the screen.

I could have sworn some time ago there was a post from someone who replaced that, but I can't seem to find it or the right search terms.

Anyone had experience with this issue?

Factory ran out end of Dec, but now under extended. In either case do you think that is something that would be covered?

I am still under factory warranty. I tried, but was denied - said I caused it by using the wrong stuff to clean it and that is not covered.

Sorry to fly OT, but Dema have you been ripping your little Montego go-kart through the canyons? How do you like it so far?
