Turn signal malfunction

My blinkers stop working from time to time (and the malfunction message appears). This is never due to a burnt out bulb, and I repair it by removing the bulb housing and reinstalling it, or jiggling the bulb housing. I guess that the sensors detect increased resistance from the bulb and shut the current to it.

This is annoying, so I'll appreciate any suggestions how to fix the problem permanently.
Thanks!

I have also have problems with my turn signals - still with the left. I used the modified part that rewires the socket from the headlamp housing to the wiring to the headlamp. There was a whole back and forth on this in the Tech Talk section between a couple of us but i cant find the thread. Anyways, i changed both sides with the part and it worked for about a year, but the left side stopped working this winter. I attached the DTB so you can try to replace them with the new part.
