2008 E550 Problem: C/S, Airmatic, and Suspension Height Switches Not Working
Today I picked up my new 2008 E550 4Matic with the P2 package. It was a Mercedes Benz demo vehicle and it has 10K miles on it.
When I got home I began to "kick the tires" and play with the various features in the car. I noticed that the C/S transmission mode button, the suspension mode button, and suspension height button don't function. The LEDs don't light up and the car does not respond to any button presses. So I'm stuck in Comfort Mode with the suspension in the soft setting without the ability to change the ride height. Also, at night these buttons are not illuminated.
I know the airmatic system works because when I lock the car, the suspension lowers itself as it should.
When I test drove the car, these features were definitely working because I tried them and remembered them working. Before I take the car back, does anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong? My best guess is that there's a blown or missing fuse, but I haven't been able to find a fuse chart.
