would u buy a buy-back w211?

just wondering what you guys thought of buying a 'buy-back' 2008 e350?

this one has problem with the keyless-go so MB bought it back and supposedly fixed the problem. The price is okay but I am afraid of long-term reliability. What 'ya think?

If you are 100% sure that the cause for the buy-back was the keyless go I would buy it. Don't know if the price is too high though...

Good luck

Why does this FL car have a front plate bracket on it? Check and double check to be sure. Not a bad price.

Great price. It would be good if you could check out the complete history and make sure that is the only thing repaired on the car.

I would buy it if I could get the 100k mile 7 year extended warranty from MB.

I think MBUSA puts those on when they go through MB Financial. All of the lease turn-ins that I have seen have them on there, even if they don't come from a state that has front license plates. Very frustrating.

I think that is a little high on price but for what it's worth I did see my local dealer do a buy-back on an MB (don't recall the class) for Keyless-Go because the car would not start 100% of the time when the key was in the left pocket. They replaced pretty much everything in the car, including all of the antennas and KG module. MB finally said just replace the car.

They said it would always work with the key in the right pocket.

Nah I wouldn't even with the warranty. Think about how many times the car will be at the shop. It takes a special car to be a 'buy back'. I've been to dealer 6 times for waranty repair and it's hard to have them buy it back.
