As long as you don't pose it by placing E55/E63s AMG emblems...

Otherwise, its looking good..

Will the foglights you have (with the chrome housing) fit on 03-06 amg bumpers? Because if I remember correctly, the 03-06 fog lights do not have that very attractive chrome strip I see in your pictures.

They don't fit, the corner angles on the side grille are different compared to the 03-06 amg side grille. The cover is plastic with a chrome ring around the fog light. I actually like the 03-06 fog light grill better and was cheaper, I looked into modifying one but I didn't feel adventurous with the build. I ended just buying the oem stuff just to get it over with. Bit pricy but a lot easier to put on than moding 03-06 amg grille..

Looks nice , glad my part numbers helped. Those are 19's on the ride right? I am about to get 19" monarch 63s i think.. on the verge of deciding any day now. I am also debating using white LED instead of amber for the sidemarkers. I noticed you got the AMG package rear also, with 2 tip cutout right? I am going to cut and shave mine a little to fit the quad tips.. since i dont see the need to replace a perfectly good bumper. The diffuser covers it up anyways, so it wouldn't even be visible. I hope someone makes a carbon front lip for this bumper eventually.

The AMG Sport bumpers make a world of a difference on the E. Can't stand the standard model bumpers.

Cars looks great!

Lets just say I didn't intend to spend as much as I did. I didn't realize how much chrome moldings and little bits of misc. things can add up!!!! $40 here $60 there another $100, next thing you know your in the hole almost $1k in bits and pieces of plastics. I haven't added the total, I really don't want to beacause I'm afraid of looking at the bottom line!!!

Thanks!!! I really want to get the exhaust but considering I've only had the car for four months and the amount I spent. I really need to relax, Hell I can't even drive the car right now and enjoy it, It's winter!!! Maybe this spring I'll finish it off.. Thanks though...

Yeah I have Iforged Daytona 19's. Ride quality is not so bad but can't compare to stock 17's. I also want LED sidemarker lights and turns but in amber. I like the amber look for the sides. I do want Clear(white/bueish tint) LED for the driving light. I have PIAA hyperwhites on the driving lights and it still doesn't match the HID head and fog lights. I hope that they will start making bumper lips for it, but maybe next year! I really need to stop modding this car or at least slow down until summer. Thanks again...

Yea, very valid points. Besides, if you really wanted to have some fog lights modified to fit your 07-09 amg bumper, you might as well wait for the W212 coupe led fog lights imo. The 'L' shape of it looks like it'll fit our 211 fog light 'hole', and they just look SOOOOOOOO sexy!!!! Now that modification is worth paying for imho.

The bumper looks great.

But do really want my opinion?

Okay: those 19" wheels, and (illegal) tint make it look like a lowered pimpmobile. Or, maybe you're in the Russian mafia?

btw, 18" will give you much better handling and ride; add some good tires like PS2, and you'll have much more precise steer-in. Exhaust tips will do nothing for performance.

But each to their own. Some people just want looks and some people want actual performance.

Cheers, and have fun with your car!

I have a 2005 E500, but that shouldn't matter. Do a search on facelift there is a thread by nikkatine that shows the parts you need to get the coversion complete. Make sure to read the whole thread because I made come corrections towards the middle. PM me your email and I'll also send you an excel sheet with part # you need.

Russian mafia, Pimp!!! A little more to the east and a less exciting carrer.. LOL more like Filipino programmer!!! LOL I don't drive the car often thats why I can do what I want rather than think about everyday use and reliability. As far as the exhaust tips not sure if I'm going performance exhaust or just tips. This time I just wanted a cool looking 4 door cruiser, low and impractical... I went through that go fast or go home stage already and it's a lot more expensive and time consuming. This time I don't want to smell like race gas every time I step out of the car, worry about tunning, how high the boost is or if the IC pipe blew out again during a race. Low, slow and shinny is what I was going for... Well maybe not that slow!!

Thanks for the replies!!!

I am thinking about selling my front end bumper ( which is exactly the same as the pics above in this thread) if you are interested. The bumper at a dealer would be around 1000-1200, fog lights 300, cover panel for fogs 300, center lower grill 150, chrome moldings 160, and sidemarkers 100. That's about 2,010 dollars. I am willing to sell mine for MUCH less if you want it. All you would need to finish the install would be a tow hook eye cover ($40), washer door covers($80), radiator grill ($260 from dealer or 150 on ebay), and then the inside attachment parts (maybe $250 tops). I spent A LOT of money finishing mine.. if you're planning on doing the same, getting the front bumper with ALL the parts I have on it already would cut your cost down quite a bit. Let me know if you are interested.
