Like what others said, they are plug and play.
But it think you might be better off if you get the 03-06 Led tail lights.
They look better IMO.

I disagree. I like the newer ones MUCH better .
But for the thread starter..yes they are plug in play. However do not get replicas from ebay..make sure they are authentic OEM because I know other members received issues when they plugged the replicas.

Those don't look OEM but with the black stripe on the lights and the clear areas. You with your black car, it may look ok though.

Def NOT OEM. I remember reading here that only 1 section of the lamp was LED. Why not OEM?

They're not OEM, but they're styled to mimic the new S Class tail lights. The only section of them that is not LED is the backup light, everything else is (see pic below). The ones I bought are great quality (even the Service Advisors at MB of Chicago thought they look OEM), and they give NO error message whatsoever.

Personally, I think they look more updated and like them better than the new 07> style. As with everything, it's all a matter of personal taste.

Those look good as well . It's just that they usually only make them in either white or black strips..so if you have a blue/red/etc car you would have to paint the strips yourself to get it to match.

In terms of size, I believe they would DEFINITELY fit, as the W211 has maintained the same size/shape of its tail lights throughout its life cycle. As a matter of fact, some Forum members have successfully retrofitted the OEM 07-08 lights into their 03-06 vehicles (wouldn't the reverse be true?).

With that said, the only reason I can think they wouldn't work is perhaps electrical? They're 100% LED (except for the back up lights) and give no error message as they come with dual resistors. Maybe someone else on the site knows a reason they wouldn't work on post 06 W211 models.

I bought them from REVOTEC on eBay. I've had them installed for over 10 months now and am extremely pleased with them, both in looks and performance.

Hey Tchu,
It's an 03 E500, with the 07-08 front end as I did the facelift.

Listen, the people at REVOTEC had EXCELLENT Customer Service when I purchased my set. Send them an email, explain you're not sure they'll work on your Benz due to their 03-06 description, and tell them other Benz owners think they MIGHT work. Ask if you can send them right back if they don't work, you've got nothing to loose asking them Bro.

Can you turn on the rear fog light and take a picture, please? I am wondering what happens when the BUS sends more voltage to the LED parking lights on the driver's side. Can you also check your MFD and see if there is an error message?

They do look nice though. . .

Have had these lights installed for almost a year now. Rear fog light works perfect and there is NO error message whatsoever. By the way, the rear fog light and the backup lights are the only ones that are not LED in the whole assembly.

I don't really see a huge advantage in having LED reverse lights. It would be nice though. Where is the rear fog light then?

I agree with you. Some people think they're better for safety reasons (MUCH brighter thereby much more visible), but it really doesn't make a difference for me.

The rear fog light is in the same spot as the OEM tail light.
