im not a big fan of the S class, to each his own. i had narrowed it down between a 5 & E because i wanted a smaller car for a change

The 08 E is the fourth MB in our series.....preceded by another E and a first and second gen M Class, then back to this current E. This is the first one we purchased...the earlier ones were 2-3 year leases. I guess you could say we're "sold"!

I didn't have anything ... which sucked at times. After med school ... I lived (and walked) in downtown Philly for my 4 yrs of residency and then bought my E320 when I got a job as an attending.

2004 E320/2008 C350
Had a 1994 325i, did all of the cheesy mods because I had no knowledge of true motorsports...after that, switched to Japanese and got a 2004 350z when I went to college, LOVED that car so much...it was also heavily modded...but it was too small and had little cookie cutter problems, the interior plastic was far too cheap...I missed the heavy German feel, four doors, and space so I just sold my car 2 weeks ago and picked up a lightly used W211!! So far, I love this car!

The new 370z I think dealt with the cheap plastic interior very well. It looks quite nice and sporty in the new one with a significant reduction in plastic parts.

oh really? I haven't had a chance to look at one up close, but the specs and the new look are really impressive...it's just too small for what I need at this time in my life...maybe in the future I'll get a 450z or whatever they'll have then

btw Sunny J the 760 is beautiful...I agree with you about the reliability, my mom has a 06 7 series and we've already had problems with the thermostat going out and god knows what else!
