Deal on a 2009 E350 4matic, P1 Sport

I'm shopping around and possibly thinking of getting a brand new 2009 E350 4matic with P1, Sport, split folding rear seats, designo wood trim in capri blue with cashmere interior. With my fleet discount through my company, I can get the car for $43,500 plus 3.9%-4.9% financing. What do you guys think about this deal? Should I go for it? Or, should I wait until they are dealing on the next generation model around the end of 2010 or 2011? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Do not rush, wait for next generation for few reasons, more advanced technology, better look in and out, and better resale value. You can get the same low price for W212 easily considering slow economy which predicted being even slower in 6 months. New MB shouldn’t have of bugs of first year production anymore, so no worry from this side.

That car is so generic the resale will be horrible. If you really like the W211, make sure it has at the very least P2, leather, parktronic, and pano so that it will stand out a bit from the crowd.

and the 211's Bi Xenon headlights are absolutely the best headlight system you will have ever driven with. ... a very very superior roadway ilumination system. If you can "swing it" go P2!

Sorry OP:
OT: only the 09 has the AMG sport package standard at no cost, where as in 07-08 is option.

Hey scott,
I am running a search on the e350 Saks ed...Is ur car equipped with the option of Keyless-go? I know P2 and AMG sport package are part of the Saks edition....but cant seem to find Keyless-go option.

Saks didn't come standard with keyless go. It was an add on. I believe it was the only option left off the package from the P2.

It all seems so confusing as my 4matic 500 has heated seats, full leather, active bi xenon, sport pkg., cornering fog lamps, sun roof of course, but, no nav, no keyless go, nor the upgraded radio or ipod adapter (has the 3.5 mm plug only) - it's full of what I need but it's interesting how the options differ based on the model differences (4matics vs rwd) vs 500 vs 350 sport vs non sport even though no cost extra on that, etc.

Keeps the buyers off balance and sells more stuff that's for sure
