problem with led bulbs never shutting off?!

So I installed some led bulbs into the door puddle lights. I noticed that they never shut off, even if I turn off the car and lock it. TBH, I kinda like the fact that I can see a bright light under the door when I look in from the outside, but that's definitely draining my battery. Anyone else here have/had this issue?

I did mine and they stay on constant too. I bought bulbs that have a heat sink so as to not get too hot. It really shouldnt drain the battery since most of the electronics go into low voltage sleep mode instead of fully shutting off in this car. Atleast I wouldn't think it could drain the battery, I've had mine in for months and no prob yet.

LED's from my experience seems to cause more problems than it solves..

you have to hook them to the wire on the door that has the shut off switch when you close the door..

same one that you hook up for the Rocker panel MERCEDES sills that light up
