05 E500 rear brake bolt size ?
i started doing the brakes on my e500,, finsihed the fronts and started the rear,, but the rear caliper is the single piston sliding caliper with the 2 bolts holding it on to the mounting braket,, what size and type are the mounting bolts ? -- i stuck some allen wrenches in there but not a good fit and i dont want to strip the head,, are they allen or torx (and what size) -- its a sport package if it makes a difference ??

Why not? is it because the bolt uses a blue locktite which is not reusable. Or is it because the bolts stretch beyond the stress strain point on the steel curve?
If it is just locktite that should be no issue. If the bolt is damaged removing also no issue. Just don't understand why it can't be reused.
My corvette also has "don't reuse" bolts on the calipers but only for the locktite the factory uses to prevent them from comming loose. But using the right locktite reuse is not a safety issue on the corvette which will be track driven this weekend.

I'm not questioning it.
