Does anyone know the trick to downloading the contact list from an LG Voyager to the MB tel. system? Telephone works perfectly on bluetooth, but names won't transfer.

Yep, I can tell you exactly how to do it. I wrote a detailed procedure in this forum. I'll dig it up for you if you can't find it. Give me a couple hours to entertain my family, and I'll find it for you.

Here ya go:
1. After successfully pairing your phone go back to the bluetooth menu and highlight the Mercedes connection
2. Choose "drop". This will drop the connection but keep it in history.
3. Highlight the MB connection again and choose "options"
4. Choose "Send Name Card" It will then bring up all of your contacts.
5. Choose "Mark All", then "Done"
6. Go back to the bluetooth menu and highlight the MB connection again.
7. Choose Connect.
Wait 20-30 seconds for your phonebook to download.

Reply to Voyager Download
Thank you very much for prompt reply. Tried it and after clicking done on "Send Name Card" menu, my phone states there is no Bluetooth device connected. Tried connecting to MB phone again and no download after waiting 1 minute. Thanks for your help.

This is interesting. The procedure I stated above is how to make it work on the older V60 bluetooth puck in my 2004 E500. However, I had a new C-Class loaner last week and paired my phone with it. I wasn't able to get the phonebook to download and received the same message you did.
Weird.

From one of the links above...
So it looks like you need to select "Receive Business Cards" then do the procedure I outlined above.
All new next generation Comand and Audio units require the phone book to either be sent via Bluetooth or downloaded (copied) into Comand unit, via SAP phone cradle.
Receiving Business Cards. (Phone Book)
1.Select “Telephone Menu” on bottom line of screen.
2.Select “Receive Business Cards” (The car is now ready too receive the contacts).
3.Depending on Mobile Phone, the contacts can be sent from the phone book settings menu via Bluetooth too the car. Some phones will allow only single contacts to be sent at any one time, and others will send the entire list of contacts.
Note: This feature is not available on all mobile phones and if the menu too send the contacts is not there, the contacts need to be downloaded via SAP phone cradle through the convenience phone function on Comand.
