320CDI surge at low load
Hey all, still getting use to my 05 CDI and have yet another question (I did search, honest!)
At parking lot speed, just barely on the throttle, I noticed a surge on-off-on-off etc. Is this normal behavior for the CRD's injection pattern too make the car less diesel? Or is this the sign of an EGR replacement (what is involved with that procedure?) or something more sinister?
Thanks in advance!

No - there should be no surge. It could be a sign of the EGR replacement needed. See DTB P-B-07.16/55c "Model 211.026
Engine Performance Complaints / Check Engine Light On with Code 2511 and/or 2355"
You will need to have the dealer perform this operation as an ECU flash and SCN coding is required in conjunction with the EGR replacement. PM me your email address if you want a copy of the DTB.
When this first starts occurring, the Check Engine light typically does not come on.
