Anyone else with fuel GGE problems?
My 2003 E500 has NEVER indicated fuel levels properly.
Since new the GGE reads 2/3 to 3/4 when topped off at the filling station. The GGE will "hang" at 1/2 until you run dry of fuel.
Rear SAM replaced as well as both level senders- still the problem persists. Dealer claims they cannot get MBZ USA to provide any ideas as to the problem- instrument cluster is next. I am running out of tolerance for the shotgun parts replacement.

My Gas gage stops maybe 1 bar short of the top when I fill up, but other than that seems to work OK.
Curiosity does your in dash Multi-function display, when scrolled to the screen that displays fuel mileage, and range provide reasonable information on the fuel you think you have available, or does it also provide erroneous information, similar to your fuel gage?
