4Matic calipers..

I've never been happy with the look of the brake calipers used on the 4Matic's .. the non-4Matics have a better sporty look to them with the MB name stamped on the front ...

Painting them only helps so much .. I'm not looking to do a BBK but what other options are there? My understanding is that the 4Matics can't use the other calipers ..

I've been trying so hard to get bbk for the 4Matic. I'm still trying its just difficult to get a 4Matic out in CA to be measured and looked at for specs at what not.

I started this thread not too long ago you may have seen it. I would greatly appreciate it if you (even if you don't really want it) to call and ask them about 4Matic brake kits for the W211. It really is our only option besides painting. Please help me! haha

I don't think you will find any kits for the 4 matic brake system (unless Brembo does) (and that would be cooler than MB brakes) ...
I know a guy who put AMG calipers on... but he had to redo the front spindles to make it work.... and in the end.. he even said that it wasn't worth the cost... at a certain point in cash spent... you could actually sell your car and buy a used "real McCoy" AMG for the same money that it would cost to add the exhaust, wheels, and brakes... plus you would get the kompressor for free!!!

but if you want to stick with your car (just as I did).....

you should spend your cash on a used AMG exhaust system... much better return of bling cash spent than brake calipers. (just don't put AMG badges on the car!!!)

Ohhhhh Ill get it done eventually haha. And it will be worth it for me. I'd love to speak to the guy you know who did the AMG calipers on the 4Matic and what he changed the spindles to? We are local so please PM me I really want to follow up on that. And yea, got an AMG Kompressor and I still want to do this idk if maybe you didn't see that in my sig. Anywho, yea I'd love to talk to your buddy, and maybe you could give a call to race technologies for me too?
