DIY Help??? Rear Airmatic.

Has anyone figured out how to drop airmatic's for service? I'm in the process of installing a Kmac rear camber kit & I need to drop the rear struts. As soon as the wheels lift off the ground, the airmatic extends to the top. Thoughts or tips???

Thanks

When you jack the car up, on each of the airbags, you will see a 3/4 inch rubber hose with a clamp going into the airbag. Remove the clamp and with a large screw driver carefully push the hose out about 2-3 millimeters. And then, pull the hose towards you. Make sure all of the air comes out. You will see the airbag contracting. Make sure that you use silicone grease on the bushings! Once you are done, DO NOT lower the car all the way down or you will puncture the airbag/s. Lower it to the height of the front wheels, start the engine and use the button on the center console to raise the car. After a min, if you do not hear the air compressor running, lower it a little more until it starts. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
